Three-day event rider Jonathan Holling of Ocala, Florida, has competed through the advanced CCI** level on many horses. Jon has ridden at top international events, including Burghley, the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event, and the World Cup Eventing Finals in Malmo, Sweden. He was a member of the 2012 Nations Cup team at Boekelo, and named to the 2011 Pan American Games team.

Early in his career, he spent two years as a working student for Peter Gray, who was coach of the Canadian team. While there, Jon met his wife, Jennifer Holling, who has competed through the advanced CCI*** level on several horses and has been long listed by the Canadian Equestrian Team.

Jon's first 5-star competition was Kentucky 1998, after which he established Holling Eventing, a full-service training, lesson and sales business. Originally based half of the year in Milwaukee and half in Florida, he moved the operation permanently in 2001 to Willow Run Farm in Ocala, where he and Jenn run a 40-horse facility.

Among Jon's favorite memories is winning the 2012 Volvo Bromont CCI4*, the venue where had competed in his first CCI. "I spent a lot of time at Bromont when I worked for Peter Gray, and to go back there and win on a horse I created (Downtown Harrison) was very special," he said.

Currently, Jon has a barn full of top international horses.  With eyes set on top international competitions, the stage is set for consistent top finishes. Jon is thrilled to be a part of the Frantisi team. From GPA, Acavallo, Konig boots, Eskadron, Pikeur, and Joules the quality offered is second to none. It’s these great products that Jon relies on every ride every day. Whether its the show ring, the cross country course, or at home - Frantisi is along for every ride
